The company was established in 1989, and has grown to be a three partner firm. Vinod Shah & Co have over 35 year's experience working as accountants and the company has formed close connections with many other accountants, banks and solicitors.

Vinod Shah FCMA

 

Founder member of the firm which was first established in 1989. Originating from Nairobi (Kenya), he completed his schooling in India. He later arrived in Luton in 1972 and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1983. Vinod has over 35 year's experience and expertise working in industry, teaching profession and accountancy practice. Vinod’s technical interest and skills include personal taxation, business taxation, personal financial planning, inland revenue compliance work and business strategy.

Punita Shah Partner

 

Punita joined Vinod Shah & Co as a partner in June 2008 bringing with her more than 30 years of accounting experience. Her comprehensive knowledge and expertise enables her to advise on all aspects of accounting and taxation issues faced by the small and medium size companies. Punita is responsible for all the computerised accounting software packages used by the practice. 

Ravi Shah Partner

 

Ravi joined the firm in 2010 having graduated with a BA (Honours) First Class in Business & Management. He is currently studying towards his professional accountancy qualification, CIMA. Ravi gained significant commercial experience working for a specialist insolvency firm on high profile Administrations for over 2 years. His skills include preparation of accounts, VAT returns, tailored budgets, client advisory work and tax planning. Ravi attends accounting seminars and networking events.

Menal Katechia Office Manager

 

Menal joined the firm in April 2011 having graduated with a BSc in Finance. She is currently studying towards her professional accountancy qualification, (ACCA). Menal’s role predominately involves assisting in accounts preparation, calculating Vat and Tax Returns. Menal oversees all office administration work, manages and trains staff, deals with direct HMRC enquires and participates in meetings with Partners. Menal is trained in using Sage Payroll 50 and Sage Line 50 Accounts software.
